Our therapy services offer a supportive and collaborative space to help you navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with your sense of balance and well-being. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, we focus on fostering insight, building coping skills, and supporting meaningful emotional growth. Whether you're working through trauma, stress, anxiety, or life transitions, our work together is centered on helping you feel grounded, empowered, and understood.

Animal-assisted therapy with dogs offers a gentle, supportive way to deepen emotional healing and connection. The calming presence of our trained therapy dog, Wafflz, can help reduce anxiety, increase feelings of safety, and make it easier to process difficult emotions. Through guided interactions, dogs invite playfulness, grounding, and authentic connection—helping clients build trust, regulate their nervous system, and experience comfort in the present moment.

Equine-assisted therapy offers a powerful, experiential approach to healing through connection with horses. Horses are highly intuitive animals that respond to human emotion and energy, providing real-time feedback that can deepen self-awareness and emotional regulation. In a safe and supportive environment, clients are invited to engage with horses through guided activities that foster trust, presence, and authenticity—helping to build confidence, process trauma, and strengthen the mind-body connection. Should we decide that we would like to include equine therapy into your treatment, there is an additional cost to access the equine facility. This is separate from the office session and is unfortunately not billable to insurance.

Professional consultation services are available for clinicians at all stages of licensure who are seeking support, collaboration, or expanded perspective in their clinical work. In the healing field, ongoing reflection and consultation are essential for growth, clarity, and ethical practice. We offer monthly consultation groups as well as one-on-one sessions. One-on-one sessions offer a dedicated space to explore topics such as EMDR, animal-assisted interventions, and integrating partnerships with animals into therapeutic settings. These monthly groups and individual sessions are designed to provide practical insight, professional guidance, and meaningful dialogue tailored to your clinical interests and needs.

When appropriate, I incorporate my therapy dog, Wafflez, with therapeutic interventions. He's a lovable and goofy English Mastiff who loves short walks, eating, playing and big hugs.
I also partner with a local equine facility and provide equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) establishment. In this work we will use "The Diamond Model," a framework that is a partnership of 4-points: the horse, the horse's handler, you as the client, and myself as the therapist.

Therapists all over the country are starting to utilize the latest techniques in order to help our clients return to wellness as soon as possible. One of these techniques is called EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a psychotherapy process that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of traumatic life experiences. I've been practicing this evidence-based treatment with clients for years and am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
